Apparently ducks only lay eggs in the morning. Do other creatures lay a certain times of day?

Most birds lay their eggs in the morning. It is Nature's way of minimising the weight of the bird so it can roam about freely and seek food without being burdened with extra weight. Birds in the wild have to spend most of their time looking for food.
