Has ant one used Tardax (chemical castration) on on there highly sexed dog? if so what did you make of the result? did it work for you?

I then had him castrated as it had the desired effect. It would think it would help in all but the most extreme cases but unless there is a good reason to breed from him then I would have thought castration would be a better bet. It would certainly help and make life a lot calmer for you and for him.
The biggest problem with Tardak is that it is only a temporary solution. Each injection only really lasts for 2-4 weeks, and so it is not really cost effective to use it long term.
I would suggest using the Tardak once or twice, and then if it has the desired effect (and assuming you don't want to breed from the dog) then you can go ahead and castrate him knowing that things should improve permanently.
Think of Tardak as a "dry-run" to mimic what castration should do.
