What do I do with this goldfish?

Well I am seething. My 9 year old daughter went out for the day to a fair with her friend and her family ~ and came back with a goldfish.

I don't have a bowl or tank, so have to go to a pet shop tomorrow & find a suitable home to purchase! in the meantime he is in a clear plastic bowl. I am hoping he lasts the night, as I don't have anything to oxygenate the water. I am furious because I hate fairgrounds trading fish..it is so irresponsible. Any tips gratefully received :o)

I thought they had banned that??... but a quick Google search finds the Govt thought about it, but didnt pass it

Im sure it will survive until you can get it in a proper bowl etc

He is now swimming around happily (I think) in a tank which looks far too big for him...he has a plant, a fortress and a shipwreck...bless him.

I hope it's �35 well spent!

I was just thinking that...

For the first time in his life he can see his reflection, and spends a lot of time playing games with it!

I have thought about a pal for him, but wondered if they would end up fighting..
