I followed this link from one posted on B&S, so I can't take credit for it, but it's so true I thought you'd appreciate it.

Why not just get rid of the sodding cat?
Question Author
Blimey you're a little ray of sunshine aren't you Lucy?
lol....too cute.
lol too funny!
lol too cute!
right on boo!
I'm chuckling away here Boo ;-) I have to keep The Wee Man out of the bedroom, when I'm changing the bed,cos he loves jumping on the duvet etc. There are various wee catty nail holes and rips in my duvet covers lol
Hiya Boo I can't read a newspaper in peace the cats ( 2 of them) take great pleasure in sitting on the exact bit that I want to read.
Ha , what a wonderful piece , priceless BOO , thanks for that :-) xx
....and so true!! My little darlings do all that, and sit on the newspaper, and the computer keyboard when I'm trying to work and one of them got tangled up in a fly-paper when she was little - took me ages to get it off her- had to clip her fur off! (She's recovered now!) I gave up on Christmas trees after the kittens totally wrecked one. K xx
With regards to Lucy Thomas-some people just don't "get it"-do they? I mean ,this little tale perfectly describes a cats reason for being....and why we love em so much.My darlin' doesn't do newspapers...but she loves to share my pillow at night-I sleep with her tail wrapped around my nose!
It's all part of the fun of Christmas.

I am dreading Christmas.

:-)
lol just reminds me why i love mine so much....thanx for postin this!
My big beast does all these things too. I actually trapped him inside the duvet cover a couple of weeks ago when changing the bed. His favourite thing though is when I'm reading - he jumps on my knee, ducks his head underneath the book/magazine/paper then pushes it backwards usually causing me to drop it! He just can't handle me looking at anything other than him!
Mine does the same when I'm wrapping pressies! He loves the ironing board for some reason - ironing is a nightmare! I've either got about 6 inches to iron clothes on because the cat is lying on the rest of the board, or he is playing with/pulling at anything that dangles off, sleeves, ribbons, you name it!
Thanks for that BOO. It was fun reading it & so true!

Our kitten Milly is 15 weeks old now & I can't make a bed, or read a paper without her joining in either! She's really cute though & has given us a lot of pleasure so far! -x-
Thanks for that BOO
My cat is on my lap everytime i come on to the laptop shes purring away and follows me round the house and is into everything i do
P.S. She also tries to paw the cursor & walks up & down the keyboard - but she's now sleeping soundly!
hehe :D

Thank you B00 xxx

My little black cat is constantly lap seeking, or more heat seeking lol.... she's quite old I think, must be 14 ish.... and she gets very cross if I get up!!! her face gets more and more scrunched up and she gives you a filthy look and a cross meow.... claws gripped in and yet body totally relaxed as she humpily shows you her ar5e whilst I dash to the loo nearly peeing myself after taking time to remove her!!!
Thanks Boo for that, how true we are all in the same boat when it comes to our kitties...Bless em.

To be honest guys, I'm a doggy person really. However I would defy anyone to tell me that any cat or kitten is more hard work than my 12 week old puppy who's favourite trick at the moment is to wait till you're unsuspecting then launch herself at your feet and "kill" your slippers. My hearts stopped more times lately than I care to mention.
