I have a two and a half year old whippet and I noticed last night that his eyes went 'strange' - they seemed to be pointing in different directions for a few moments, although he didnt seem to be showing any sign of discomfort. The problem went away very soon after and he was fine, had a good night's sleep and got up fine today. However, tonight, at more or less the same time as last night, i noticed the same problem, with both his eyes taking on a strange appearance, almost as if the eyeball had moved backwards in his head. I have checked his eyesight and recall and he responds well, so is there anything this could be? I will be taking him to the vets asap, but without an emergency surgery nearby i am forced to sit tight. Can anyone put my mind at least at ease in the meantime?! Please....?!!?

Hope it turns out not too serious, but I wonder if it could be a mild form of epilepsy, or even a minor stroke? Be interested to hear the outcome.
