Afternoon, possums, and a happy wedding anniversary to mr and mrs Neti. Moseying sounds good to me.
Calm down Robinia it'll be over in five years or so...
Yeah that's about a haiku, Jude! Were the flowers delivered by... I don't know - helicopter...? ...or did they come by truck the previous day and somebody else brought them up there before you brought them down again in the morning? Not that it matters, it's just that it's such a strong image to me and I'd like to see it the way it actually was. hope you don't mind
I must say Vinny it's a bit sneaky of you to LOL around flaunting the Square Owl Radio (square owl? she is crazy isn't she) you built for yourself out of wingdingythings but hiding the private dancer you assembled to go with it... All together now: TUT! And as if that weren't enough, he's on about that bran tub game, years later. I wasn't around when y'all played that one - did you all throw in a couple of those prizes that are mentioned here as "adding to the surprise"...? I bet you did, I bet that's what has him so nostalgic ha ha ha...!

Duck you may - diz mah ammo
Congratulations Neti on your anniversary.. It's a sad time because of Charlie but I'm sure he isn't suffering anymore.
Kit I didn't mind at all about the Haiku. The flowers and plants were delivered by truck on 'multi-shelfed' trolleys and I brought them down on a smaller trolley on to the shop floor. Then I set them out on display. I really enjoyed it and was complimented one day on how I wrapped them for the customers. I remember feeling really chuffed. We had to use what were modern tills in their day but that still meant the amount of change wasn't displayed and we had to work it out as we went along.
I'm in a good mood today as The Rams won last night in the last minute of the game.
I don't know how you all do those wing ding things you are clever clogs. I've come to the conclusion I'm useless at this computer lark. I'm still struggling to get a link put on.Lol.
Anyway have a good night all of you!

Morning! Woke up to sunshine at 8am (my time) decided to wash the sheets and now it's pouring. One more word on Charlie - I was not happy where he was buried , it was right where we reverse our cars and although we have so far managed to avoid it, it wasn't going to be long before we just went over, so up again this morning and digging a nicer one in a nicer place, but not pleasant moving him, but it's done now, and even his "girlfriend " was sitting on the wall, that was nice. End of!
Had a nice evening dining out, we went to a underground restaurant, well half of it is, and it-s a bit like a ski lodge, very cosy and nice with 2 log fires blazing in the middle of the room and surprisingly it had a lot of diners. Am off to the village in a minute.

crikey Vin I wonder what the story was behind that torn up money?
Yes, my sister commented that people around her way have all put lights/trees up early...not here, we're all grumpies, bah! humbug. I usually do mine around the 10th but I think it'll take more than a squatty little tree & a bit of holly to work any magic. A few mince pies & some sherry might help tho'.

I'd love sticking all that money together Vin I like doing jigsaws and such. I'd spread it all out and go through it meticulously. It'd take me years I suppose. I wonder what the man will do in the end. Your night out sounded good and festive. Do you have a mate to go with or do you go on your own. Is it a case of whereever you go in Wooly you always meet someone you know?! :o)
It's turned out nice again here except for first thing this a.m; it was poring with rain. We were forcast snow and I had my boots at the ready but it's missed us.
My tree is going up this weekend. My sister always puts hers up on the 1st Dec.
I'm off for a cuppa..........bye for now!

*emerges from the litter bin* Evening biddies, or if it's the afternoon - it's so dark. I'm on the lookout for a nice advent candlestick (don't know if you folks light advent candles?) or an advent star for the window, symbolising the star of Bethlehem. They're in almost every window here, we do love our lights and candles. Wikipedia says they're common in Germany as well so Shaney if no one else will know what I'm talking about. Other than that I don't do a whole lot of Christmas, me being single and stuff. I used to go down south where I come from but it's all become too complicated after I cut my father out of my life. It's sad and it's painful but I'm done trying. Any-hoo, hope I'm not putting a damper on your Christmas spirits ha ha - just thought I should explain a bit.
I say start putting your Christmas tree up right now Neti - you know it's tricky (He he I still haven't forgot the three part one you assembled without using the middle section.) /Good thing you moved the grave - what was mr N thinking?? How's Mousey taking all this?
Lemme put it like this Jude... if I were to spend hundreds of hours making an animated dancer out of ASCII characters... I'd make one for myself and not one for the yokel ha ha ha! In other words, I just stumbled upon that gif so you can stop thinking of me as a clever clog :) (but Vinny's and Robinia's devices were obviously "built on location")
Private dancer for us ladies...? enjoy...
Stay put Woofy I'm gonna go look for a YouTube clip I posted before you rejoined the biddies!
