I've noticed blood near both of my hamsters anus' lately and am puzzled as to the cause. They are both active and eating with normal stools. Can you help me figure out what this is?

Get them to a vet asap, this is not normal at all.
Maybe they're a gay hamster couple.

There is a stong possibility that your hamster has a condition called 'wet-tail' this iscommon in hamsters that are geting old or hamsters that have been exposed to stress. Take it to the vet. Matters can only get worse from this point if you do not. Hamsters suffer when they have wet tail.
Did you take the poor little thing to a vet?
By the way, 2 stars?? .... I feel that my advice was the best advice anyone could give you in hope of making your little hamster better. If there is not a qualified vet on AB then people will just 'guess' at what it might be. My advice was to see a professional!
