Afternoon, animal lovers. I don't have any animals anymore but lov'em and often watch all sorts of animal clips on YouTube. This one featuring the chicken police really intrigued me - is there anyone among you that could come up with a theory as to why two fighting rabbits should annoy the roosters to such a degree??

Well done on your virtual driving test neti. I did that BBC(?) tv quiz thing once...was it Anne Robinson?...anyhoo, I scored better than average...pretty good for someone who's never driven for more that 15 seconds....don't ask.

tut...I wish you'd stop talking about food while I exist on a diet of soup, scrambled egg & yoghurt :o(...and if Sweedie mentions liq choc once more I'll lace her herbal tea with something that'll really get her moving, it sounds even more revolting than olives, brocolli and anything tubular that's come from the sea.
I've got a copy of a Gaugin painting....it's currently on my jaw! Well that's what it looks like. Hell fire, I've had some grim procedures with a local anesthetic but that....oops, not frightening anyone I hope? I may be popping back in for a wee chat sometime this week. Anyone know any good Greek swear words? he might appreciate my making an effort to communicate clearly.
Oh dear, seems our brains aren't equipped to cope with more than 150 friends. Joining this happy little troupe took my score to 151 so I'm sorry, one of you is just gonna have to be struck off my xmas cardi list. :o)

I'm not very good on appreciating art. I just know if I like it or not but to explain the whys and wherefores is a bit beyond me.
Talking of food, I went out for lunch 3 times last week and just drooled over the puddings on the menu. I had to come home and have fruit and yoghurt which I have to admit is getting a bit boring.
I'm having salmon and veg for my dinner today followed by you've guessed it. If any body has suggestions for a low fat low sugar pudding I would be very grateful.

An attorney arrived home late, after a very tough day trying to get a stay of execution for a client who was due to be hanged for murder at midnight. His last minute plea for clemency to the governor had failed and he was feeling worn out and depressed.
As soon as he walked through the door at home, his wife started on him about, 'What time of night to be getting home is this? Where have you been?'
'Dinner is cold and I'm not reheating it'. And on and on and on.
Too shattered to play his usual role in this familiar ritual, he went and poured himself a shot of whiskey and headed off for a long hot soak in the bathtub, pursued by the predictable sarcastic remarks as he dragged himself up the stairs.
While he was in the bath, the phone rang. The wife answered and was told that her husband's client, James Wright, had been granted a stay of execution after all. Wright would not be hanged tonight.
Finally realizing what a terrible day he must have had, she decided to go upstairs and give him the good news. As she opened the bathroom door, she was greeted by the sight of her husband, bent over naked, drying his legs and feet.
'They're not hanging Wright tonight,' she said.
To which he whirled around and screamed, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WOMAN, DON'T YOU EVER STOP?
