Afternoon, animal lovers. I don't have any animals anymore but lov'em and often watch all sorts of animal clips on YouTube. This one featuring the chicken police really intrigued me - is there anyone among you that could come up with a theory as to why two fighting rabbits should annoy the roosters to such a degree??

The second video is just a bonus for you cat lovers, no question attached, although if any of you have your own little roomba driver at home, do tell!

Evenin all...Just a quick hello to let you know I'm still standing - just. I rang the dentist yesterday & they said to persevere with biting on gauze pads...took until about 8pm to get it to a slow seep so I s'pose my blood level must have dropped below my neckline :o/. I just hope it heals well now. Feeling a bit post trauma today, and look like my normal gerbil jowl on one side & stuffed hamster pouch on t'other.

I'll catch up with your posts over the weekend.

Jes' taking the mick Neti but seriously: Well done! Shaney wouldn't pass the test you know - not in her left-turning dream car anyway;-) Oh Shaney you've tried hypnosis! I've always wondered which category I would fall into, I suspect I would either be extremely suggestible or extremely non-suggestible but I'm honestly not sure which. I think Vinny is probably far too suggestible - just look what happened to him on his way home from the pub last time http://i46.tinypic.com/2zjgjky.gif

Hi Robi thanks for dropping by, I was starting to worry. 'Course it will heal, just stay off the knäckebröd:)
Stay off knackers in general Robi, feel better soon x
oh dear, Robi, giving blood is a noble thing to do but it is better when voluntary.

I had a very nice lunch yesterday, with three courses plus two inter courses (that can't be the right word... they were little snacks between courses, one was an eggcup of some sort of parsnip froth and the other was a kind of micro-jelly) plus a glass of champagne, all for £30. It was up on the first floor, so I didn't have to look out on the starving hordes of the West End as I ate. Pate, steak and sorbet to follow and three chocolates each. Verrrry nice. I should probably dine like that every day and charge it to petty cash.
Oh jno I know how it is when the peasants are drooling at one's food! They should be kept away from decent folk !!!
quie so - I don't mind them keeping the cattle I eat, but that's near enough for me.

I suppose you could always feed the peasants to Buenchico - there was a thread last night where he said he'd eaten human flesh. Perhaps I shouldn't mention this around lunchtime, though.

Afternoon biddies and hippies. Have you all joined Vinny under the table now, 'cept Neti and jno. Parsnip froth!?? That's even more decadent than my liquorice chocolate.

Long time no Lottie, hope you're okay Lofty. You'll never guess what the Swedish translator has changed 'Lottie the Otter' into...?

Have to say I'm jealous of your van Gogh exhibition jno. I love him too, seems everyone does, and yet he never made it - it's a mystery. I saw a Gauguin exhibition in Denmark many years ago but that's as close as I've got so far. Unless growing up with Vincent on the wall counts for something: Da young Swede and her Mum and van the man http://i45.tinypic.com/2qbzofq.png He he he, what a cute little Monty Python foot I had!
ooof being painting today cos painting man can't get here soon enough to do the kitchen so kitchen men can get finished...time for a bath and something restorative...sent my dear Husband out to get dinner and he has come back with bung it in the oven chicken kiev and nuke it parsnip carrot and spud mash, he is a fantastic shopper...oh and tiramisu for dessert.
catch youse tomorrow when the paint has chipped off (me not the wlls). Glad you have stopped bleeding Robi. s anyone else watching Being Human on the Beeb? the first series was pantsish but it has picked up...the werewolf I think is excellent, also the baddie vampire policeman who is really chilling.
Am watching "Ibiza" on Living+ : what a load of wallies come here and think they are the bees knees, bring back the 70's !!!
I don't know how good this will come but I took a picture from my kitchen window with the zoom on of my little robin so here goes

Hope you're mouth is feeling better now Robi. I hate having teeth out.

Also hope all the rest of you are ok and having a decent weekend. I am going out tonight with my sister to see her daughter playing and singing in her band. They only play for charity about 3 or 4 times a year. They are called Anominata which I understand means something in Latin. I think that's how it's spelt.

Have a good night see yer later 'gater(s) x
cute photo, Kit - I think we had that painting on a calendar once when I was 10 or so. Colour printing were rare in those days (if wasn't printed on the page, it was stuck on by hand) and I was agog at the colours he used.

If you happen to be hanging around Tate Modern in 8 months' time, there's a mega Gauguin exhibition coming up

Lovely robin, Jude - we have one too, hops around while we're digging in the garden waiting for us to uncover a worm and hand it to him with a grass garnish.

Uh-oh Jude... http://i50.tinypic.com/zstfk.gif /Shame you don't speak my lingo, you could ask my friend with the dream interpretation blog about your mother always being young in your dreams. Sometimes I wonder if it isn't just that youth seems more natural to us than growing older, more like what we *really* are like, deep down. I read a sad and funny definition of middle age, it went something like "middle age is when you still think that you're soon going to feel better" =:o Just generally, I can tell you that people we dream about often represent some aspect of ourselves - somehow. Perhaps you have been daydreaming of something to do with grandchildren...

Tate Modern used to have a Swedish director jno, did you know? Lars Nittve. Won't be hanging round Tate that I know of - unless of course you invite me over for some parsnip froth.
I think Annominata means something like "the nameless ones" quite a call name for a band, like Muji
argggh not "call", COOL
My adoptive grandmother (she was my husband, then boyfriend's grandmother m]but she adopted me and i always called her Nan) once said that inside you always feel 18.
Evening all - In spanish it means anonymous. Lully piccy jude, my cat would eat that!

Am tucked up in bed with a rash all over my body and its itching like mad. Am taking anti-histamines and cream, so hopefully it'll go away soon.
Good morning all. Just got in after a night singing and dancing to Inominata spelt with an I not and A and you're right Woofy it does mean the nameless ones cos they couldn't think what to name the band.!!!

Pleased you like my little Robin. I'm hoping it comes a bit nearer so I can get a better photo.

I'm off to bed now and looking forward to a lie in. Tara x
Morning all, am having breakfast in bed until I get up to go out for lunch - italian tapas today - new place we want to try. Still itching and my knee ached all night, what's that all about.

Chilly and wettish. I love sundays. Can find the heart symbol but for for the life of me cannot get it to here!!!!
