The time has come when I have to bite the bullet and do what's best for my little puppy Skippy . I can no longer look after him to the standard he deserves and it's not fair on him to keep him here with me . I can , or my carer can , feed him , but I can't watch what mischief he gets into , walk him , excersise him , take him out , play with him , pick him up , or give him the valuble attention he needs . Today a couple came to look at him and took him with my son and their dog into the park . All went well and the two dogs played well . The couple have had Jack Russells before and they really like him .

How wonderful to hear of the farm honey , you manage such hard work there and I admire you hun , you do well .
I didn't know chickens didn't lay while they're maulting , and awwww I bet the pigs are really cute . Thomas is very crafty , the best of both , what a character . xxxx
Question Author
Well , an update , the couple who wanted Skippy have suddenly changed their minds . Family reasons they say they won't be able to give him enough attention . How on earth they didn't think of that before they said they would take him I don't know .
Now I have to go through that again , though I've already got more people wanting a look and a chance .:-(
Sorry to hear that's fallen through bigmamma but he sounds such a sweet little dog I'm sure you'll find him a good home soon. I wish I were nearer to you so I could have him. Good luck hun. xx
Question Author
Thank you Jan honey , it's a nuisance , but I suppose it's better they say no now rather than take him and not look after him , or pass him on again .
xx
I hope his new mum is as loving as you are, Bigmamma. xx

Very kind of you NoMercy honey xx
Myself @mrs sqad are heart broken....really really sorry.

This may not be very popular BUT would it not be better to have him put to sleep.............I realise all the emotional implications and I mean this in the nicest possible way.
Question Author
Oh sqad sweets no , I wouldn't dream of putting such a young and healthy dog down , he's only a year old and has his whole life ahead of him :-(
So sorry to hear that BM, I really really hope you find some nice people soon hun. I'm sure you will find someone but if not you can always contact the Dogs Trust. Not sure how it works but they may allow you to sponsor him and send you photos. I sponsor a dog called Rex and they are always sending me photos and telling me how he's doing etc.

I hope this is sorted out quickly for both of your sakes. Theres nothing worse than prolonging the agony.

BM..North or South Lincolnshire?
Question Author
North East sqad love xx
thanks.
bigmamma , so sorry to hear that Skippy's new home has fallen through , you must be devastated.

You say that you have lots of people interested in him and I hope that you will find the ideal person for him.

As I said to you before I would willingly have him , but am in the N.EAST of uk and perhaps the logistics of getting to him may be too great, would have to check that out .

However , remember if in the eventuality that all falls through I am here, and would give him a really good home .

However I understand your dilemma and you only want the best for your little pal.

So keep in touch and let me know what happens.

Lots of love .Brenda.x
