sick day

Tomorrow I need the day off work as I have a job interview. The only way I can get off at short notice is to call in sick. The company I work for expect you to phone them as early as possible so that they can arrange cover. They prefer you to phone the day before if possible. What excuse could I use that would have symtoms the night before. I was thinking of migraine or a tummy bug. I had an upset stomach in december. Do you think it sounds suspicous having two tummy bugs so close together.

just tell them your husband/boyfriend child has been up all night really ill and you need the day off to take him to the docs.

dont lie, somtimes at interviews they ask how many day sick have you had in the last 2yrs and if the place where you are being interviewed finds out you lied to get to the interview it wont look good.

I don't think a migraine would have symptoms the night before. Toothache might though and would go away real quick if you went to the dentist on your sick day...... or if you are a lady you could have lady problems...... or a real bad sore throat.....
