Congratulations to Handsome George

Just logged on to see the results from the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show, and Mrs Thugulike's George took the Dog CC and Best of Breed!!!!!! Way to go George, here's to the next one.
Mine didn't do much, two seconds and a third, but I handled someone else's to the Reserve CC.
Having a bit of a holiday, Norfolk to Scotland, down to Northumberland, over to Cumbria and the Dales and spent today with the dogs at Semer Water. On to Staffordshire and back via Derby tomorrow.
Lovely scenery but a bit hot for the dogs.

We never had aspirations beyond the CC so we were delighted with the BOB, especially when the best female was the Cruft's BOB 2010! Bath next week. Lankeela you could have stayed here. Rooms with en-suite and plenty of room for dogs always available.
Thanks for the offer, don't usually venture up that far these days. Not doing Bath, next show will be Southern Counties but judging a companion show at Great Harwood next Monday. My GSD puppy had a great time meeting lots of different breeds and swimming at Semer Water. Hope George gets his next CC soon, he certainly lives up to his nickname of 'handsome'.
