Well after three years we've finally got a Blue Tit showing interest in the nest box.Only seen him twice but really hoping he'll decide to move in.

A pair of blue tits have been investigating and going in and out. I think the hole might be too small though as it seems like a bit of a struggle for them to do so. I can't take it down to enlarge the hole, it's too high up in the tree, so they will have to keep persevering. :-)
Well despite being a a desirable residence (in our opinion anyway) the viewer has not shown any sign of moving in.Plenty of activity on the feeders at the moment with calls from goldfinches, blue tits,robins, blackbirds and sparrows,but nobody seems interested in the nest box.Still fingers crossed there's still time.
some advice on positioning bird boxes here. Direction of hole is really important.
