Flowers on a fig?

I have a nice brown Turkey fig tree in a pot. I get about six figs a year and very nice they are too. BUT I have never seen any flowers on my fig tree, just suddenly tiny figs appear. So...do figs flower and if so when and what do the flowers look like? and if figs don't flower, where do the tiny figs come from??

woofgang I'm so sorry I forgot to give you something - you'll need it to clear out your inbox everyday....sorry about the poop, I've also been using it to clean out the chickens. gessoo keep the pets away from them or they'll stop laying again, they've only just got over the move - it was a bit traumatic having their shed towed on a skateboard behind a shopping trolley.

Flippin' heck, I only went to the wrong bloomin' place didn't I? Found it in pitch darkness with only Vinny's old slippers running around - I could have sworn I put them in the bin....they're obviously livelier than I thought....I'll get the vet to put them down in the morning.

Not taken you long to lower the tone in here I see, running around in fig leaves - doesn't anyone wear suitable night attire anymore like what I do?
