I have a nice brown Turkey fig tree in a pot. I get about six figs a year and very nice they are too. BUT I have never seen any flowers on my fig tree, just suddenly tiny figs appear. So...do figs flower and if so when and what do the flowers look like? and if figs don't flower, where do the tiny figs come from??

I actually thought it would go on the fireplace very well woofy when it gets very cold brrrrrrrr

Good morning Biddies!

Nice to see you've all settled in nicely - a shame no one answered your original question woofgang. Back home in California we had an amazing fig tree in our backyard - and you know what? I don't remember it ever flowering, but my little brother and I would have fun climbing up its sturdy branches and gathering up all the figs. Tons, there were!

Its freezing out, I hope you brought all your hotties with you!

Well I,ve been half way round the world looking for you all ( ended up in Australia he he ) .Eh I,m so glad I,ve found you at last ,well actually a couple of hours ago .I,ve just spent that long reading all your comments and instructions .Talk about Jude being slow ,a snail could pass me on the M1 ! Laughed my head off meanwhile ,hubby thinks I,m mad . Now you are all comfortable and warm ,did you take your Syrup of Figs before settling down ? That,s a very handy tree neti now we haven,t got the Bran tub for the fibre we all need ! Thanks woofy for remembering me ,I was really upset when I couldn,t find anyone at home in the Grotto but I did spot Vinnys' donkey in the distance so I followed his trail ( if you know what I mean ! ) must get off here for now move over everyone ny feet are getting cold .Nighty nighty all .The tree belongs to woofy not neti ,oh its getting late ,excuse me .
must learn to post piccies etc .have to find Smudges link .
.........and Dolly the donkey belongs to neti not vinny, he only borrowed it months ago and hasn't sent it back.
Morning all
A lovely sunny day her in Norfolk but very cold.
I hope you all had a good nights sleep in the new place.
I had to spend some time yesterday doing other stuff..I think it's called housework and cooking.!
I have hidden the Andrex in my shopping trolley Neti..don't tell Robinia.I heard that we won't be having Izal any more as there was a bogoff on Bronco and she has bought a carton of it.

Those slippers are very nice Vinny..try not to spill any Becks on them.
Have a good day everyone xx

Hi Dolly so glad you found us - you'll have to keep your eye on us we'll probably be moving again next week although I'm sure we won't be instantly chopped off on 500 posts - it's just to keep the techies happy I think. Got a feeling that fig tree will be coming with us - it could end up as our xmas tree if we're still trekking then.

Speaking of pilfering neti - someone on here ^^^ (cough Ed cough) sneaked off with my Bing Bong/ Bong Binger and I haven't seen or heard it since. Actually I rather miss doing the Biddy announcements on the old cb.

Hey I've an idea < golly, I'm sounding like an Enid Blyton character again.... maybe Ed can set us up with a swish Californian BiddyBeach home.....yes????

But I don't want a beach home - I've got one - I want a wintery one with snow and stuff. If we have a californian one we'll all gave to be tucked and lifted and slimmed down and waxed. oouch, I remember waxing and it wasn't lyrical. No I'm happy with things the way they are.
shall have to arrange a houseswap with neti - I can lie on the beach (will consider later whether to include waxing... perhaps just for the surfboard), she can come lie in a snowdrift.

Which tree are you biddys

here

Dolly Im glad you found your way..with the help of my ..erm..i mean netti's donkey....!

Pickle which ones netti..He...He..(:)

gessoo...um..to late with the slippers im afraid, they got christend last night..(:)

Vinny I am the Rowan and how true is that - me down to a tee.
I'm a lime... is that the one with the fruit that goes in my gin? Or the linden tree sort? Or does it produce quicklime, so I can bury any buildings inspectors who intrude?
okay, we've been here just over 24 hours and this looks like being post 100. At this rate we'll be moving on again on Sunday. I don't actually think I'll bother unpacking. Maybe just the tennis court net and the aspidistra. Quite stressful, this biddouin business. Barely have time to feed the camels.
