Ed - Latest Post Issues

Ed - a tech problem again...

Latest Post is sticking - ok one can click away from it using the back arrow, refresh, or new topic, but on the automatic refresh, it reverts back to the "same" latest post.... one of those annoying things as you can't see the new posts 'arriving'.

Prudie had the same issue yesterday and one or two others....

At the moment, mine sticks on "venator", "Would You Report A Benefit
Cheat?" at 0 minutes and the lowest one on the list "TheOtherHalf" on the "Olympics" at 20 mins ago.

Mine sticks too - but on an earlier set of 'latest posts' than DT.

Hi DTC,

What browser are you using? We've made some changes to the way the LP works (it does the computation your end instead of ours now) it should make the thing faster, not slower.

I'll talk to the technical team about the issue.

I had the same last night but when I changed from IE to Firefox normal service was resumed

mine is doing the same as you DT when i click it is going back to you're post.It is showing me the automatic new ones, then i click and oops i,m back to you.

juist to add, you can have both Firefox and IE on your computer (and any other browser you want). Just use whichever one you want each time you go to the internet. Sounds like IE isn't the best one for AB at the moment.

fred - I do as jno suggests. Sometimes one is better than the other for certain things. It is easy enough to do and I just choose which I want from the start bar :)

I'm on IE8 and have problems wi the latest post it's showing the most recent is LazyGun's answer to The English Dense League Racist? every so often
