Whenever I post a reply I get a message saying the preceding message has been removed. Is this a system problem or has the answer actually been removed?

The person who posted that particular answer has been banned from the site. When this happens the posts they've made disappear too.
Are you saying it happens every time you post a reply or just sometimes?
Surely this doesn't happen every time? Answers are only removed if they offend Site Rules, it doesn't happen all that frequently.
Every time you post a reply? Or just when you reply to a question which has been removed?

No its not me! The first question I viewed today about cutting a glass glass oven door has two answers removed. Anyone who thinks abuse is funny should keep it to themselves. AB is getting more like a chat room. Time was when answers were made by people who knew what they were talking about and not wasting time.
johnny..unfortunately some folk find pleasure in trying to be smart when really they are rather offensive.....
right... so you're actually reporting to us that there are removed answer notices? Like there should be?

I think I understand now.

We remove answers which break the rules of the site.
