Good feeling re this site and am glad I found it - it is great to be able to put your postings in and somebody out there will try and help you however great or small. I hope I put my wee input in there without the swearing of course. You know I do have loads of friends but not in a million years could they help me with all the answers I get from here - they look for answers from me - and secretly when they do I come on here and then I tell them and they oh Conn you are so brainy - hahahhah. I'll keep it a secret.

If it were not for The Answerbank I would not know half as much as I have learned over the years. Apart from asking my questrions I always read anything of interest from others peoples questions as it might be useful to me in the future whether I remember that is another question.

Wendilla - so do I look at all the questions - when I get the time - some times I come off the site for a while - then new question appear and I get interested.

I am laughing to myself - perhaps some of us may never needed to be at school if we had have this site - self-educated without some of the nasty teachers/nuns crucifying us and slapping us for not knowing something when you are 10-12.

Wish all this technology was around when we were young. However, I loved my school days and my school friends - it was a wonderful time for me- secondary school - school dinners - desserts - and HEAT - which I never got at home - and wonderful friends and of course some lovely teachers too.
I was thinking about school dinners yesterday Conn. We used to have this gorgeous beef stew and mashed potatoes. Also a caramel tart, all the kids wanted seconds and would bolt it down to get back in the queue for more
Top o da marnin to yus connie. How did you do at English in school?

Oh, dear. Conn, the winks are still there for you to see. Have a look back.
Connie, it is always good to see you about on here . I don't know where I would be without this site. Bored witless probably. !!
maize, I remember a caramel tart. Did yours have chocolate hundreds and thousands on it?
You might want to familiar yourself with emoticons, to prevent any future misunderstandings, look http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_emoticons
