Ever wondered what AB Ed did in her spare time? Me too... until I was wandering in the bazaars of Damascus the other day and saw <A target='_blank' href=&quot;http://img328.imageshack.us/my.php?image=abed7yt.jpg& ;quot;>this</A>. Crafty, eh?

Question Author

neti if you're going to give anyone flu it should certainly be an accountant. Could you drop in on your lawyer as well?

snuffle

Ha ha gessoo how very true - it must happen to every couple.
lawyer jno? lawyer? what makes you think I would ever have a lawyer - I am a decent clean-living law abiding citizen (now).
Having seen all these piccies of your lovely gardens reminds me of a poem " a garden is a lovesome thing - God what" well the first bit is for your gardens and the "God what?" is when he saw mine:
WELL HELLO!!! am I the only one here ....is there anybody there?????? getting spooked so creeps out again.
Question Author

neti we are all lying by the pool out the back of the red carpet inn aka carpet shop. Do drop by with a pitcher of sangria.

Here's a pitcher (!) of sangria

he he

that's all you are getting.

Here we all are by the pool Neti!

Biddies!

Afternoon All Just finished my first stint of the week at work. My friend's off to Egypt today so I probably wont be going out this week much. Just maybe Friday, if the other friends I have are going to our usual place. Hope all ailments are getting better. We all seem to have had something or other this Winter don't we? I was lucky to get my son and his girlfriend's Easter eggs today we have nearly sold out at our shop. Had a laugh at your piccies today they keep me going. I don't know where you find them all - is it just googling or what?

Where's Vinny and Woofy. I hope Robinia's had a lie in. Mind you it's quite a nice day over here and mild too which makes a change.

I was lucky to get 4 easter eggs from a bar owner who bought them from England. Spain has only just cottoned on to E/eggs and makes them in dark chocolate and I can't stand them. Love Cadbury's. Had to pay 5 each which is good for over here, but they are only choc buttons and other kiddie ones. Ooh I'd love Dairy Milk or Roses.

Funny how tastes differ Neti. I can't bear Cadbury's milk chocolate at all. Just hate the taste and it's far too sweet. I love that really dark bitter black chocolate (great for migraine!!!). My chances of getting an Easter egg are remote, but I mustn't complain - I am trying to lose weight!!!

I love those hollow eggs best that you have to bite a hole in to start off!!!

Afternoon all - flops down on sheepskin rug....ugh, who's dropped a bluebird toffee on it?

Only went to the local shops & the whole world & his wife are out & gossiping for Britain....I couldn't get away....well, not until I'd heard all the latest anyway. Jude I don't know what they've got planned for Birds but there was a photographer clicking away at all angles.
I offered to strip down to me libby & lean seductively against the door covered in whipped cream ....poor man, I think he was hard of hearing because he didn't reply.

I prefer milk chocolate too - apart from After Eights....my favourites are those Guylian shells, lovely.

Something here on it's way especially for you neti

enjoy!

Thank you robinia I licked the screen until the piccy has disappeared. yummy!!!!

Hi Robbie. It's sunny and mild out but I just can't get warm today. Are you feeling better now.

Now having a weird lunch, but enjoying it. Half a tin of Heinz Sweet Chilli Baked Beans and a glass of V8 Veggie juice with a slice of lemon!!! However Beef and Ale Stew in the oven cooking very slowly, containing half a litre of Norfolk Stout brewed locally.

Off swimming tonight.

Question Author

hmm, with half a tin of Heinz for propulsion you should get through the water quite quickly gessoo.

Better take these with you

hahaha lol jno - I'm now visualising gessoo jetting up & down the pool like one of those plastic boats with a balloon on the top that you used to get free in your cornflakes.

to be honest gessoo I'm not sure how I feel today thanks, I still keep feeling that 'flu-ish' thing wash over me. Anyway, I'm tired of looking pale & uninteresting (think of a living QTip) so I've bought some of that body lotion with a gradual tanning ingredient..... I could resemble a living twiglet by May.

Question Author

yay Robinia - the robinia in my garden is a lovely pale gold colour - you could just see it, quite young, in front of the back hedge in that pic I posted the other day - hang on, here's the link again http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/3038/garden8cv.jpg - but I see no reason why a Robinia shouldn't be lurid orange like people coming out of tanning salons. Go for it!

Got a couple of tree trimmers coming in tomorrow to give me a quote for shrinking the oak. They're both coming at the same time, by accident, so maybe I'll be able to get them to fight over who offers the best quote.

LOL at jno and Robinia. I didn't think about the swimming when I ate the beans. MrG will wonder what on earth has happened when I zoom up that pool. We are going in the jacuzzi, so all those bubbles will disguise the ones coming from me!!

I have been using Johnson's holiday skin Robbie and have turned a nice shade of light brown. Good stuff!
