Talk about creaky knees, mine are terrible today, I've been up and down our ourside steps dragging in shopping and xmas decs and I don't think they'll last another second!!

Morning neti...we're in an annex to the original Grotto, a bit like those terrapin huts we had round the back or our school before they added a new bit. Bloomin freezin' in winter & the sound of our wooden clogs on the floors was terrific. :o)
My knees (& elbows) feel as though someone's sawing through them this morning (they won't make much of a fire)...and please don't mention plumbing or turn any taps on....'nuff said - except is that state of the art portaloo still round the back?

Bah humbug, normally I love putting up the xmas decs but just am not in the mood today so shouldn't have started, mess everywhere yikes, treading on balls and false holly, have done two trees and one big one to go, holly and a red candle over all the piccies, usually looks nioce, but am just flighing them everywhere. Seem to be short on tree lights and I bought a spare set yesterday and done have enough! Grrrr.

That's how I felt t'other day when my lights went neti...so I just left the bare tree sitting there. The next day I found another set of lights...what's the betting they go on xmas eve?....I literally threw 'em on along with some baubles...all done in about 10 mins & it looks as good as if I'd messed about for ages. I've just got to hang some balls on my twiddly sticks ....
