The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is on BBC2 at 5.20 today. A film about post-war Guernsey. It's worth a watch or recording

Lovely film

Enjoyed the film, but liked the book even more.

Books are often better.

I'll set my alarm for 5:20.

I loved it.  Set my Humax box to record it to watch again.

It's a good film to have 'in the bank' to watch when there's nothing else on I think

Filmed in Dorset

Thanks , MargoTester. It's been on my list (recommended by a friend) for some time, but now I shall definitely make an effort to watch it!

I read and thoroughly enjoyed the book, then watched the film which is something I rarely do. The film enhanced my enjoyment of the book but I'm glad I read the book first.

Watching it now.

I was wrong, not filmed in Dorset, it was Clovelly in Devon.
