Oh there's a surprise, have just seen "Foyle's War" appear in my download programme so will now do what I do with them and hopefully watch it tomorrow!
...and now there's Ladies of Letters, oh goody.

Am I alone here in this sad little biddy world??
I casted a clout yesterday and needless to say, today it is cold and overcast and going to rain. Am I complaining ? NO!
warm and sunny here, be glad you're not sweltering in Blighty, neti
Morning Neti. and Jno I'm just off out to Tai chi and lunch. Lovely sunny day here but quite cold.
Have a good day everybiddy!!!
Morning
Warm?... warm?!... where are you jno, in bed? It's a paltry 6C here - nice 'n sunny though so that's some consolation I suppose.
I watched Ladies neti, it was good but I think it's in danger of going ridiculous. Enjoyed Joanna Lumley on the Nile...there's just something about the light in Africa that even on the television looks beautiful.
Morning all
Where's it warm then ? Not here it isn't .Real feel 5C .We've got the heating on .
Did you have a nice time in Bridlington Jude ? I thought of you in that chilly east wind .It's still blowing a gale here .Sunny it is but warm it 'aint .
Yes I watched Joanna Plumley too .It was very good .
Have been to the Big City to get daughter's residencia - horray, she is legal again! Pouring down here although not too chilly. Used my free bus pass, am chuffed to bits to get something for free! We had a nice cafe con leche and croissant and am now back home where I belong, great jetsetter that I am!
What was the prog re Plumly on the nile called so I can seek it out - thank you
I've just been out and painted a wooden post so I can tell you it is definitely warm. But it's in a sheltered spot, so once I head for the dentist this afternoon I may be bumping into polar bears everywhere.
Joanna Lumley Jewel of the Nile.. Neti .ITV 1 .
Already out on DVD too !

crikey, not wasting any time with that are they? It's just called Joanna Lumley's Nile at the moment..wonder if it's a pinging 'nile'?....hahaha...be funny if she really speaks like Janet S - Porter

sorry, I'll go

Damn if it's out on dvd, then we are not allowed to download it, I'll check with another site!!
neti I noticed after I posted it says Release date - 10/05/2010 so it's not strictly out yet is it?
Haha..with a name like ..
Eurydice Colette Clytemnestra Dido Bathsheba Rabelais Patricia Cocteau Stone
" Oh whatever sweetie, fabulous darling ...have a crisp."
I loved AbFab.
Did you see her in that thing with whathisname .He was a colonel or something who lived with a milkman .They were widowers . I can't remember what it was called .
Ever so good though .Sort of bittersweet comedy /drama .
I've got old knitting patterns with Jo Plumley modelling knitwear !
oh don't get me watching it all over again, I'm not supposed to be sat sitting here. Never mind, too chilly outside anyway.
Yes I loved Ab Fab..."the only thing you use the cooker for is to light your cigarettes' hahahaha

here it is shaney!...I might have to order it to watch on a rainy afternoon

Eh up mi ducks. I'm back from My morning out. Had broccoli and cream cheese bake with salad for my lunch. It has now gone very cloudy over here. Unlike yesterday in Bridlington. The sun shone from the minute we drove into the town and stayed all day. Not a cloud in the sky well perhaps the odd one. We had a good walk along the coast to a village called Sewerby (unfortunate name). We had the usually fish and chips lunch being in the North East coastal area. Well actually I had Pineapple fritter and chips (as I had fish the day before)and my sister and her niece had the fish. I even spoilt myself and had an ice cream cone with vanilla. It was a grand relaxing day by the sea. Even the coach ride there and back was good.

I quite enjoyed Joanna Lumley's programme but she does prat about a bit. And my goodness doesn't she fancy the men fawning all over her. But the scenery and everything else kept me watching it.

Not much on tonight - well I can't see anything special to watch. Any suggestions?
ay up Jude, sounds like a good day you had. It was sunny here too but very chilly...where's my rock? Actually I'm not keen on rock, some nice fresh prawns would be good :o) Not a lot on the box tonight...but I do like Holby.
Thanks shaney for that link, but being the infidel that I am, I am not allowed to view it as I am outside of England!! It's not on my site yet and I think two weeks before is the cut-off date but hey ho no probs. Have Foyle to watch tonight. btw, who was that lady In Frost? Where have I seen here before, was she in Doctors ages ago and married to (in the play) Chris timothy?
