Please see our newly updated FAQs which will help to address the email situation. As gen2 mentions, some email providers will redirect AB email to junk or bulk folders or they will not accept them at all.

Please follow the directions respective of your email provider to ensure you receive emails from the AB.

Yeah I saw one in TV and Film and just thought Dot had been temporaily suspended until monday.I'm now beginning to wonder if it was indeed a hoaxer in light of what the one and only Dot has said.

Like you, I won't be excluded and have re-registered so that I could fight my own corner, at least for tonight as I am sure I will be banned again come morning. I have e-mailed AB Ed myself about being banned but, of course, she has not had the courtesy to reply to me.

If you are going to gloat about me being banned then at least get your 'facts' right please. Whatever you may have been told, or whatever may have been inferred to you, I did not use 'multiple IDs' in order to report you, so please rest assured that there are certainly other ABers out there apart from me who are reporting your posts. I certainly did report your posts many times but NEVER on the grounds of profanity, despite the fact that I was subjected to some quite vicious verbal abuse from you and others, so please don't accuse me of abusing the Site Rules.

I am glad you have clarified that you were the green DotHawkes seen on other threads recently because I would never ever wish to impersonate someone like you.

As AB Ed could tell you if she felt inclined, which she won't as she is totally biased towards you, I did participate in other threads, giving useful and accurate advice, and had posted a question in IT, so I had not set up a 'dummy' account just to 'bully' you.

My, and others' 'stupid campaign' was to rid Suggestions of mindless chat, based on your beloved AB Ed's words seen here:

She has now back-tracked on all she said and if anyone is to blame for the nonsense over the weekend and for you being 'bullied' it is her for not being able to stick to her word, and for being too weak to stand up to the bullies like you who have persistently whinged and whined over the last 2 months because ChatterBank was closed.

As I said to AB Ed, I stick up for her rules, and I'm the one who gets banned. I was never abusive or foul-mouthed to anyone, unlike you and others were to me, and I always gave a fair and reasoned argument, which was generally met with throw-away comments or verbal abuse rather than a valid defence.

It seems you and your cronies have worn the AB Ed down into submission. Congratulations. I'm sure AB Ed will enjoy working for you.

citygirl I think (I could be wrong) that a side effect of reporting a lot of posts from a single user is that this user is then blocked from the site. (It's so that if some troll is sending a lot of offensive posts, other users can stop him.) This may have been your intention, though I suspect not. Banning you in turn may have been meant as punishment for this. I thought your own posts were civilly expressed, and I was sorry your name vanished; there ought to be room on AB for you and dot. I hope you're allowed to stay, and I can only suggest not reporting posts en masse, however far up your nose they get, and however clearly the Site Rules seem to permit it.
