yo lovely sunny day and warm...lots of Crockles about..and a Beer Festival to...!!Went to work this morning,and the building is 3 storys high...up on the third floor above the ceiling tiles...is an old cinema..ceiling and walls about 30 high...had a quick look..(could have done with a torch)and its well spooky..

the ornate carvings on the walls and ceilings are fantastic...and its being preserved...right im off to the gaden to get a few Rays...catch yer later dudes...(:-).

not a lot of sun round here Vinny though I did go and remove some dead jasmine without actually turning blue... anyway, went to a consultant this morning who thinks what my foot's been suffering from is gout - I've had gout before and it was nothing like this, but he says it turns up in different modes... just got to get the results of the blood test to confirm it. Will be so nice to have a diagnosis. It's mostly better - I'd deliberately stopped taking the pills so it wouldn't get better before he could have a look at it - but I've started on them again (diclofenac). So things are looking up... meanwhile on Ibiza poor neti is freezing and in need of a plug.... golden years, eh?

Hi All Get well soon Neti and keep taking the tablets Jno. Been giving my car a look at today, oil, screenwash, coolant, you know the sort of thing, all the little jobs we women have to do. And yes Robinia even mowed the back grass. My brown bin is 'chokka blok' with cuttings it was that long. I'm watching the snooker this afto as Derby don't play til tomorrow and I'm going to see my brother and his pal Pete playing tonight in Belper. For those who don't know it's a little town just outside Derby. I'm looking forward as he doesn't play in the aria(that's a good spelling mistake innit, I'm leaving that one in) very often. The other weekend they were playing at a Guitar Festival in Lille.

Weather's beautiful here and the forecast says next week i'ts going to be really warm. Hurray!!!

phew - done a bit more in the garden.......lovely afternoon - it might be tropical this time next week, hope we're still on the boat. Maybe we can get an extended licence.

Well Vinny you wouldn't be able to sit out here with your Becks and as for your custard tarts ....they would be frozen by now.!

Just got in again. I see you've all been enjoying yourselves up Vinny's chimdy!! Just found out Rocket Ron got knock out of the snooker - I think that leaves the way clear for Ebdon now and I've lost my bet!

Had a good night, they didn't finish playing till 11.30 after I don't know how many encores, really talented guitarists.I know I'm biased but it's true.

See you all tomorrow when I've taken my Dad his dinner and had my rice pud.

Hi Robinia et al ,I've been entertaining my brother (he goes home on Wednesday) .I'll be glad to get a sitdown we've walked for what seems like miles ! Having second thoughts about going back for a holiday ( I don't like travelling ,all that packing ,sitting on a plane for 27 hours etc.etc.) I'll need to losea few kilos before I go can't let the Rellies see I've let myself go !!!LOL. I think I could manage to be on a canal boat without being seasick but if I fall in I'm going to need a real hunky Lifesaver (I can't swim !) All the best to all of you especially the poorly ones .xx
