House Plant Problem

I have a thick, very sticky white substance on some of my conservatory plants. I presume it is from an insect as it doesn't look like mould. I have sprayed it with insecticide but nothing shifts it. Any ideas welcome. Should I get rid of the plants?

I think you might have something there about the allergy gessoo, my eyes have been so sore & yesterday's head started off in my sinuses. My neighbour's mountain ash is absolutely thick with blossom this year & has smelt so sickly & heady ....I'll try some anti histamine.
( I've a little gang of sparrows right outside my window busy shredding a hessian sack at this minute so cute)

gessoo I'm going to enjoy having breakfast in your garden but you shouldn't have let Vinny see those Bloomers and the little French maid ,he'll be ringing the bell for her every 5 minutes and we'll get no peace !!!! This sunshine is nice ,I''ll just lie around reading my book and getting nicely tanned oh no you've got mosquitoes may as well go back home I'm used to ours !!! LOL

You can clean my car as well if you like Vinny the birds aren't proud up here either. On second thoughts I think I'll take it to Asda. You go on the shuttle thing and you come out all polished at the end. (Not that you wouldn't do a good job, just thought it would save you the trouble):o)
