Hello all - a very tired and sweaty neti pops in - I can't cope at the moment, more friends arrive today I AM SHATTERED. Had a hypnosis session today to get rid of my spider phobia, and having a proper one on Aug 8th in preparation for my England visit on 10th. First time in 60 odd years of not being afriad? I very much doubt it, but am willing to try anything as this fear ruins my holidays in Eastbourne. Glad you are all chipper and feisty, I can't stay in the computer room too long as I sweat buckets. I'll be around again soon. Love to you all xxx

oh I just came in to ask if anyone had any wild weather yet....the wind's picking up from the west (why does that not surprise me?) & the cloud's building up.....I wish it would rain too everywhere needs a good washing down.

Evening all Had a busy day today not!
Too hot to do much at home. I'm off to water my garden in a mo then I might watch a bit of telly. I've been watching that mad pair rowing across the atlantic! Barmy! Looking forward to going to see Bryan Adams tomorrow night. It looks like it's going to be a fine night.
Neti it looks like we might be coming to Ibiza in September. We were going to Cyprus but there may not be any where to stay with the refugees and all that. I'm not complaining, they need somewhere to go and I don't begrudge them anything.
Have we heard from Dolly lately. I can't remember seeing any posts from her for a while. Has anybody any ideas where we are going next it's getting near the 500 mark!
Anyway I'll say goodnight to you all and will report in tomorrow sometime. Bye for now! x :o)

good luck neti, there's been an unusually large number of unusually large spiders about this year - really; not trying to wind you up. There was a thread on them somewhere a month or so back. So the phobia's worth working on.

Evening all.Its gone very dark again,but still no rain.had to drive my son to a party in the middle of no where...and have to pick him up later...if I can find it in the dark....blooming near simonsbath...oooh...somethings walking across me screen....

Hi all ,actually it's not too bad here during the daytime about 20 to 22 degrees C but when the sun goes down so do the temperatures ! We don't have a fire have to rely on the Reverse cycle Air _conditioner . Cold air in Summer and warm air in Winter ,cheaper than an Electric fire . Well I am so glad we couldn't come over there in July what with no air -conditioning in the shops ,on the trains etc I would spend my time passing out from heat exhaustion . I do hope you all get the rain you're waiting for soon ,we still haven't had any ,the grass has nearly disappeared with lack of water and one cannot in all conscience waste good drinking water on grass. Neti don't know how you manage with all your visitors but enjoy your trip home in August . I think we will be over in September so kep your fingers crossed for slightly cooler weather for us . Jude don't know where you get your energy from ! mind you when I was your age etc.etc.........!!!! Love to you all including VINNY.SHANEY .JNO et al . Bye xxxx

morning all - quite cool here at the moment but a bit heavy, I got up with a sickly headache so maybe we've some storms on the way.

hi Dolly good to see you. Your 22C sounds fine to me, all this walking round with my frock tucked in my bloomers to keep my legs cool is very undignified, not to mention scary.....my table has better shaped legs. Think I have about 6 blades of green grass left, there's no need to mow, just a flick over with a brush & it snaps off. I've far too much of it to water & unless you soak it for a couple of hours it's a waste of time & water anyway.
see you on the trip, but we're not singing Waltzing matilda, sorry!

It fell down for about ten minutes and that was it . .My lawn is like a load of straw !

me again - can't go far 'cos the washer's on & it has a habit of pogo-ing around the kitchen if I'm not there to restrain it.
I could do with some of those ceiling fans to move the dust about, it gets filthy in this dry weather with all the windows open.
I need some new net curtains but they can wait until we're hermetically sealed in again. I hate nets but the double deckers pass by & passengers were being traumatised by seeing me in all my glory.
