(continued) Can't see or listen to
Vinny's video at this computer. The headphone thing, you know.
Vinny, if you think it's fun to imagine (root) swedes in headphones at the library, you should see this particular Swede tidy up: My vacuum cleaner is so noisy that I actually wear a pair of
these. If I had curtains I'd draw them; my nightmare is that somebody might film from across the street and post it all on YouTube, set to maniacal music... Anyways, how long you been a vegetarian?
jno, what's your lyrics analysis of A Whiter Shade of Pale... Just in case there's nothing on telly tonight in Britain, that should keep you busy for a while. Or perhaps you're at work, just remembered you work nights.
Robinia, you mentioned that the adorable Charlie came to stay for a month - eight years ago. Sounds like a story - how did that come about?
Oh
Shaney, I do feel for you. I know about animals growing older and weaker and ill. My cat lived to be seventeen and had recurrent tumours for several years. It's agony to know what decision to make when. But so far there's no doubt that your Shaney is thoroughly enjoying life, taking the water like that! (By the way, I'm presuming you've taken your AB alias after your dog...?) My sister has two dogs, one of them is losing her eyesight too, but handling it rather well. A bit confused, granted, but not unhappy or filled with anxiety.
Trying to figure you out,
Jude - party personality with 68 year old friends... I'll just have to go one figuring...
