Deleting old queries

I often refer to AB to get help on missing questions on Quizmail; however my search is made more difficult as there are queries posted going back several years. Realistically people are only ever likely to be interested in the most recent - is there some way of allowing a search for the current month or deleting the older ones?

some Qs are asked again and again over a period of several hundred years, including the tasty tasty very very tasty one. So answers are left in the archive forever in the hope that they can still be of use to questioners. But it would be a good idea to have a search filter that just gives you the last month or year or something. The search function used to be useless, but ironically now it's been improved you get far more answers than you need.
