Publishing another aber's home address on this site

One of the members who has chosen to use the blank id, (not efc) is the same person that used the greenie id during the week to post my full home adddress on this site. can i suggest that anyone who does know who this person is, suggests to them that they are really really overstepping any marks this site has left, i know it is sinking to new lows with each passing day, but this is now going too far.

I was sent Minters address enigma. I will admit to looking on the electoral poll site but it was'nt there. I told someone and they gave it to me. You'd be suprised at how many people here know where he lives,I certainly was!

the thing is, lots of people on here over the past few years have probably read lots about me, i have always been very free with details on my life and work and family, what i don't expect is for people to think they can intrude on someones life outside of ab, niaive of me i guess, but if anyone saw what was actually posted about me and where i lived down to the actual housenumber, they would probably freak and get out of the site as fast as they could.

That's really frightening Fran because as far as I can tell , or at least from what I have read , WM has never really divulged any personal details on here other than perhaps a location where he resides and mentioned going to the lodge which could be anywhere. I was always under the impression that WM was not his real name which may or not be correct but I find it really disturbing that his personal details can be made readily accessible to anyone on a whim. Whatever is said and done - right or wrongly - does not justify having their details splattered across the net for all and sundry to see.

Dot I would be absolutely horrified if someone posted my personal details on here - or anywhere online for that matter , as I have NEVER given permission to do so and would feel really violated if that happened so I can't begin to imagine how you or Wardy feel. I think terrified would sum up my feelings though. Fear of the unknown , that someone knew where I lived and could be stalking me without me realising. Scary stuff !!! I must admit that I am very cautious about what info I disclose on here but sometimes wonder if what I have mentioned is enough to trace me. In particular , I am very wary about what I say about my children and their after school clubs in case THEY can be identified. I guess it just goes to show that you can't be too careful. As my mother always says - loose lips sink ships. I think i'll be even more careful from now on about what I disclose.

Oh and I meant to ask you Fran , WHY did you want to know his address and what did you intend to do with it ? Were you going to pay him a visit ? I'm not having a pop at you , I just don't understand what purpose that knowledge would have served.
