Hello fellow cave dwellers! The summer is over here shaney and I can't get rid of it as much as I try. Sorry for absence, have two sets of friends over at moment so it's one day with one lot and next day with other lot, eating and drinking well, and I really do not drink that much any more! Am shjattered so am going for a rest until next onslaught tonight!!

I like being in the Art Gallery but there's a sign saying :NO FOOD OR DRINK TO BE CONSUMED ON PREMISES : So there;s every chance I'll be off out every couple of hours .
I used to have Wallpaper on the walls of the Loo with pictures by John Constable -very bucolic !

Yes Robinia I know exactly what you mean with those damned energy saving lightbulbs, we tried one once, it cost a fortune and blew after 3 days, so never again!!

Well Robinia speaks Derbiffian which is easy to understand ..that Woolytonian is awfully hard to decipher especially after they've been been speaking Beckish which is a sort of dialect down that way .

Well...trust me to get on the bus to Morrisons which breaks down in Oulton Broad where we sat and we sat .Good job I had bought Gin and Sdns or I would have been a shadow of my former self by the time we got back .

Hi all just a quick pop in to say that I will be missing for a week or so as we are beginning a marathon house sort... we went and bought all the furniture for the dining room yesterday AND carpet AND DH is going to paint it (rolls eyes) and it all arrives on 29th and 30th July so we are going to be busy (cheesed off) littlle bunnies. Keep me a seat near the loos and something alcoholic from the posh cafe for when I return, something tells me I will need it!!

Hi All Hope you are having a good weekend. I didn't get up til 9.30am today. Went to my local haunt last night and managed to get T'bag to come with me. He said he enjoyed it so we may go again sometime.

All the best with your 'do-it-yourself' Woofy hope it all goes well for you and not too stressful.

Having a lazy day today then tomorrow I'm going to see another cousin (sister of the one I went to see last Sunday) who lives on a farm near High Wycombe. I think I told you about her last year when I went then. She has a couple of garden parties every year with spit roast etc. My brother is taking me and one of my sisters. Just hope the weather keeps fine. Last year I had a go at clay pigeon shooting so might have another go this year and hopefully will hit one this time!! :o)

Morning all - visitors gone now, daughter arrived so for the next week shall be busy. Nevermind inAugust I shall be in Good old England. Can't wait! It is so hot here now and Mr N has decided not to use the air con at night and I just cannot stand it anymore. Ishall melt away!!
