I didn't mean all of CB should go, 4 get. What I meant was that now we only have the option to report a whole thread, even if it was started as a genuine one and turned into a fight / abusive by one or two others OR we just have to leave the whole thing. Because people were abusing it, we can't just take out the rubbish answers and leave the rest of the thread pootling along happily.
I don't particularly want anybody off this site, it's an open forum and if questions aren't to my taste I don't answer them. I just want the nastiness, threats and foul language to stop.

If CB shut at certain times, the abuse would simply move back to B&S.

I suggest instead a zero tolerance policy on abuse and bullying.

If someone uses symbols to replace letters in a rude word to bypass the automatic sensor - immediate permanent ban on that username.

If someone is grossly abusive, or obviously bullies another member - again an instant ban from AB.

OK so they can create another identity by using another e mail address, but the many would tire of that quickly.

Those that don't could have their IP address banned.

Hit the culprits hard and the site would be a better place.

I notice instead that the option for us to report abuse disappeared a while ago.
