by logging in through the amswerbank new letter where I am still logged in

Answer bank recognises my email address but does not send password resets although it promises to. Once I leave this page then I will not be able to log in

Have you tried contacting the Ed to ask him? - use the Contact us link at the bottom of this page. I don't know the answer to your question, I've never needed to reset my password.

Why do you need to reset your password? If you click on your 'My Profile' and then 'Edit My Profile' you can change to a new password

I ask the same question as sir.prize.."Why do you need a new password"?

If you are able to log into your profile (by whatever means) it should be a simple matter for you to bookmark the page for future reference and accessing AB.

Once you have bookmarked it you should then be able to put a short cut icon on your desktop ( Computer screen) and be able to click it for immediate access to AB.

Having said what I have, I honestly can't fully remember how I did it. Nevertheless, I feel sure you will get there by trial and error.

Because you are not entering the exact same email address the account is registered in when you fill in the request password form?

You won't get a password reminder sent to any other email address other than the registered one on the account you are trying to find out the password for.

Again entered via answerbank newsletter. Have amended password on my profile as su

well I do agree with rrc - I lost all my temp files/cookies as I had a pc virus earlier this week (system tool which is pretty rampant and nailed my pc condom which is Bullguard). Not too much damage fortunately as I ripped out the cable and battery quickly.

I came to log on here and had forgotten my password - or for some reason it didnt work. I asked for a reminder through the contact and sweet fa from the Admin......ffing useless therefore and not good support. I then tried again later and the password went through and hence I am returned from the depths of AB hell.
