in september i saw a book in waterstones and am now looking desperately for it everywhere, however i can't remember the title or author.

it was basically the memoirs of a woman who was living in paris during the occupation of France during the 2nd world war.

if anyone can help out it would be really appreciated!

This is probably a long shot but i think it might be called Suite Francaise written by Irene Nemirovsky,if it is its a fantastic book and well worth reading, hope this helps.
