Can you identify this fiction book?

I read a book in the last 10 years or so, where the husband, who seemed to be a control-freak ratbag (I'm not bitter, honest). He used to put ketchup on all her clean plates and let it dry, so she'd have a real problem getting it off.
She killed him, but got away with it.
I'd love to read it again, but i can' remember what it was called or who wrote it.
