Like most others, I too have a feeling that Dumbledore will appear in some form in Book 7. Killing him off now is just JKR using a typical plot device to make it all look utterly hopeless, help bring out Harry's true colours and keep the spotlight on Harry. Tension and release.
Seriously regretting not waiting a year or so to read this - 2 more years to have all of our questions answered!
This is my theory.. (and don't read this unless you've finished the book)
I believe that Dumbledore can return. Here's why. I think that Snape was SUPPOSE to kill Dumbledore - I think Dumbledore told him to. Because Dumbledore is way to smart and powerful to just go out like that. And I think Dumbledore knew about Snape making the Unbreakable Vow (and we all know that if Snape breaks it he'll die)
So this is what i think all summed up...
Snape was suppose to kill him, and Dumbledore can return because i believe that Dumbledore himself had recently made a Horcrux (because when you make a horcrux a part of your body starts to change or break down - just like what happened to Voldamort) - In Dumbledore's case it was his rotting hand. (That was never fully explained in the book.)
Please re-post everyone and tell me what you think...
