Just watching Richard Hammond on Beeb 1. They are showing Caving, it would scare me rigid. I have this real fear of getting stuck in a tight place.

Spent 10 years in the Cave Rescue Organisation and enjoyed myself as well as helping a number of cavers in trouble. Its a super sport and a good way of raising a thirst.

Injury is another matter but there are highly skilled teams in all caving areas. It's great!
When caves are big cavernous things like Cheddar or Wookey Hole, then fine. But potholing through narrow gaps or crawling wriggling through narrow twisting tunnels; blow that for a lark.
