thanks quizzkid, I do ascribe to the theory that some basics can be taught to help folk draw and make a reasonable stab at expressing their visual side.

thanks maggie and ayg.....the cottage is as long as it is wide, so it's actually quite a substantial house. They are selling up to downsize and moving about 200 yards, their previous house even closer!
