Hair styler

I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

Bit late on salon duty as had to log off because Picky came carting in with all his paperwork for Mr S to sort out so they've hogged the machine .Then I had to feed him .

Morning all yawn ....well it's infectious and I didn't sleep well either. It hammered down with rain about 1am and I'd only just nodded off...then there was a noise at 4.30, a bit like falling mortar, probably down the roof/chimbley after all the rain. Fell asleep when it was time to get up so now I'm in a fog.
It's bloomin cold out!!

still lovely and warm here oop south - the men have done the oak tree and are now up the hawthorn. The garden is much brighter already. If we could just get the leylandii leylanded, it'd be like Ibiza here.

Stinking hot here again and so humid, although the temps do not appear to be too high, it is ghastly! Just doing several loads of washing, where does it all come from??

quite nice and autumnal here, cool, breezy and sunny. Shughy is back to his relaxed self. I need to do some cleaning today.

NOPE have finished the washing for today thank you Robinia. Am now spring cleaning (don't ask) and have got hydrocloric acid on my sore thumb and it jolly well hurts. but at least one room (no make that 2) are clean. Have to make 2 curries soon, just had a dip in the pool, was lovely best time to go in.

Afternoon each. Had a good day up to now. I went on the bus to see my Tai Chi friends then went to a local pub with my 2 usual lunch time friends. I only had soup and lovely bread.
Then on my way back I went into Boots and used £13 worth of vouchers on my usua face day and night creams and an eyebrow pencil which would have been £25.45. I also got extra points for this being my birthday month and being over 60 so I have nrearly £15 to spend in the store.


Thanks all for your emails and kind words. I'm quite relieved I've told you now.

I'm off to make a cuppa tea now. Nothing fancy just Sainsbury's Red Label :)

Lovely day here ,bright and sunny , bit breezy but warm until you stand at the top of the lokes where it whistles up from the sea and then it's a bit chilly .
Hope you are all Ok .Not much doing here .Housework on hold .Cant be bothered .
I do have a new nail file from Amazon though which is brilliant .
Are they doing something to the categories ..perhaps they could have Nitpickers Corner :)

I have been out catsitting - Mr and Mrs LL (2) have gone to Italy.

Great minds think alike Lofty ..I've been looking for a new hat for the winter .I have several but am fed up with them .
I want something for the wet weather really .Thgough knowing our fickle weather it'll be a dry cold winter as opposed to a warm wet summer !
