Hair styler
1241 Answers
I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

I only slept about 5 hours last night so I thought I'd be more sleepy by now; but not so. I've been doing quite well this week, though, nearly got a trip to Burma and down under booked for the new year, got the trees pruned back, had my mouth filled with goo so my crowns can be prepared (though one of them has nowhere to go yet). Plus we've been invited to a BBQ for a friend who's moving to Singapore. It will clash with Open House weekend, but tough.

a'noon all...by heck it's chilly, what a contrast to last weekend. Man with big equipment's been to trim my private...oops, privet. He was just getting ready to go as the first drop of rain fell, it's piddling down now, how lucky was I?
Not so lucky with a shirt I ordered, got to change it for a bigger size, I need to get me woolly vest on under it...guess I'm less stick and more pole :)

Hi all. Very weary today. 4 and a half hours at hospital. Plaster off. Xray. Therapy and 2 chats with Mr Palau who told me my wrist was ok now but I have intensive therapy for 6/8 weeks. So I'm off for a rest then tomorrow I'll start work on the exercises. The therapist says it's like a job (full time) and I have to do some exercise every hour.
That's me done for now. Sorry - Hope you all have a good night.
Oight Oight every Biddy.

I go through phases like that jno...look into my pixels, tonight you will sleep for six hours. This time next week you'll be a sloth.
Oh I love a biddy bargain, I'm wearing one of the dirt cheap t-shirts I bought at the weekend & I like it. I was thinking earlier (as I prepared to go out in the rain) I'd like some black boots.

that sounds like progress, Jude. Can you work the exercises into tai chi?
Well, make sure your man has a good flexible pole, woofgang, in case you need the guttering cleared, and make sure he keeps your turf short.
.... reminds me of the review of Lady Chatterley's Lover: “interesting passages on pheasant raising, the apprehending of poachers, ways of controlling vermin, and other chores and duties of the professional gamekeeper... Unfortunately one is obliged to wade through many pages of extraneous material in order to discover and savour these sidelights on the management of a Midland shooting estate, and in this reviewer’s opinion this book can not take the place of JR Miller’s Practical Gamekeeping.”
