Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Afternoon all, can it get much hotter, we are all wilting - Mr N is at home yet again, I am not best pleased. Did the shopping had brekkie in a cafe, then I met my gay best friend, had a gossip, came home tried to tune my new tv, but just cannot get the 2nd sky box to tune in, main one is OK , so have put old big TV back.

Back in cool bedroom as there's not much else I can do with Mr N at home.

Lol..wait until he retires Neti ..he'll be rearranging all your cupboards :)
Much cooler here today ,nice breeze ,got all the washing dry .Got my goodies at the market ,including a fresh crab .Lovely with some delicious bread from there ...Well it was lovely, it didn't touch the sides :)
I want to live with shaney!! cool breeze, lots of room to clean and wash in.
Same here, lovely warm, not hot, breezy day. Washing/ironing done...the bed changing malarkey is so much easier when you don't have a duvet on and for that reason this weather can stay forever.

Neti you're very welcome to come and clean and wash ...lol .It takes me forever these days .I can no longer clean a house from top to bottom in a day.
By the time I get round it all I have to start all over again .It's like being on a hamster wheel ,although I hop off quite a lot and turn a blind eye to things .
This is a nice house but so many nooks and crannies .I often wish I could have brought our house from south London and just plonked it down here. It was a doddle to keep clean and tidy ....and a small garden !
and of course crab!!! (I had to be very careful with that one!)
I am still melting in the bedroom, Mr N is absolutely soaking in the lounge as he doesn't believe in fans (I know, this is what I have to put up with!!) Am making chicken thai curry, pad thai noodles, and rice tonight, am marinating the chicken!
This villa is tiny, but old and every room is on a different level not by much but it's annoying. I feel it is filthy, dusty, horrible. Hate the front room carpet, full of cat hair. When we empty the pool I am gonna dunk the carpet in it with shampoo and swill it about. Then hose it off. It'll probably fall apart, it's at least 36yrs old, it belonded to my mum, but it's a nice gently greenish colour and doesn't show too much dirt.
Lol shaney, I was only thinking earlier how I seem to always be cleaning. It's because I never get much done at one time.
My bloomin pillowcases were full of birch seeds, I'm going to get birch trees declared health hazards, I swear I'm allergic to the pollen.

What the hell is fantasy football? I swear footy has never featured in any of my fantasies.

Gawd knows Robinia and I'm not asking Mr S because I'll get chapter and verse and there's only so much football ones lugholes can take .I didn't realise it was the football season again soon .
He's taken to watching the cricket funnily enough ....then it's my turn to explain what's going on...lol.
ha, I've never really had to endure sport. There was one who was the world's biggest Derby C fan...sorry Jude, second biggest... but he knew better than to talk about the match. He used to come all the way from up north to watch them, and probably still does.
Fantasy guitar...now that's more like it :)
I suffer golf here... golf, golf, golf. and athletics, and swimming and diving and footy.
Question Author
I suffer any sport .If two flies were crawling up the wall they would be betting on which one gets there first .
hahahaha....
But shaney, doesn't everyone do that????
This is a sport free enclave and always has been, DH wasn't bothered either except for motorcycle racing, which I enjoyed too (watching not competing) We have had a potter about day today, went to tesco, had lovely crusty bread for lunch, discovered my new pond filter (just out of guarantee) has a leak. so did some online research. The leak is a slow one so will just keep topping up the pond till I can replace it, can't turn the filter off in this weather. Anyway early night to make up for last nights non existence, oight oight all
Oight Oight all. Busy day today starting with defrosting my freezer.
Hate that job.
See you tomorrow.
morning all, nice cool start to the day here.
Morning all, nothing new to impart. Think we are going to the beach for a while, which I hate, but have to get a tan for the wedding in 3 weeks, certainly won't lose weigh in that time, cos I am enjoying sweets!!

Hope you all have a nice day, I still have a sore mouth! but think it's a mouth ulcer.
Morning..too cool, too cloudy. I want more of yesterday's weather.
My garden is full of sparrows, they're everywhere!...they obviously had warm snuggly nests, they've done very well.

oooh, I'm this itchy this morning...think I'll have an antihistamine
