Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Morning all
Looks like another lovely day ahead weatherwise .
Hope you are all ok .Might have a toddle down to the seafront later ..
sunny at the moment but the united weather forecasts of the world say it's going to be cloudy and all Pisces should avoid long drives.
Morning all...it's gawn cloudy which is a shame, but it's going to very warm (so they say). There was a beautiful sunset last night. I think I might have a toddle down the seafront, I should be there by October shaney :) Actually I'll be back on my very slow and squeaky treadmill I expect.... sigh ...I'm beginning to think I'd have been better off allowing my house to become a complete pigsty and then someone might have sent a team in to sort it for me :)

Well done woofy, I've put you in for this on Sunday. In fact I've put you all in for it.... except me of course. Well someone's got to take the pics

and hello again. Robi I NEED your cleaning team!!
There's always something with my two, Rab had decided that our newly instituted bottle collection makes the scariest noise in the world. He is only slightly worried by thunder so this is quite strange. Shughy can't work out why he is getting wound up. Anyway that put paid to an early nap so here we are. The boys are back asleep and I am awake.
Robi I wouldn't dream of your missing out on such a treat, you can go up Hellvelyn and I will do the photos. I've got all the latest kit.

aww, thanks woofy, that's good of you. At least with that you won't be able to see how many colours I've turned...and that'll be before I've finished pulling on my lyca.
It's not so much the cleaning I need a team for, it's that thing where something heavy needs moving before I can declutter that bit and then move something else etc etc....I wish I could just move things along until they fall off, like a domestic tipping point, haha.
I call that fox, dog goose cleaning Robi. You know the man has a rowing boat and has to get the fox dog and goose across the river without leaving the fox with the dog or the fox with the goose.
I am done with work for today. dogs are snoozing, I have fed the tortoises and filled up their water bowls, fed the fish and run the washing machine. Dinner is home made turkey nuggets. You soak pieces of turkey or chicken in plain yoghurt overnight then make your own coarse breadcrumbs with any kind of savoury cracker. and bake in the oven for around 20 minutes. We had them hot last night and will have them cold tonight, they are delicious.

I need a cleaning team.Cleaning this shack is a bit like painting the Forth Bridge,by the time I get to the end of it all I have to start all over again ,so I turn a blind eye a lot of the time .
Especially in this glorious weather .It's 24C ,even hotter in the garden. We trundled to the beach I had poached eggs on tst in the cafe and Mr S had an all day breakfast and then we sat along the front for an hour or so then trundled back .The sea was like a mill pond and lots of people on the beach .We've certainly had a lovely summer here .Next week is the Maritime Festival so I hope it holds out for a while yet .

Phew at last an hour or 2 to catch up....
Last weekend was surprise parties on Saturday and Sunday70th and 50th.
The lady who was 70 I have been friends with since we were in our teens and 50th was my neighbour. Then all week I've been catching up with washing and ironing, (not my favourite occupation) gardening and food shopping. Nothing in the Freezer or fridge when I got back home.
Still I've readall your posts again.
Robi I would love someone to 'do' for me too like moving my 'corner seating' so I can hoover behind and under, it is so heavy, but my room looks better with it, than separate chairs and sofa. Then there's me bed. I could o on.
Woofy Pleased your back walking and feeling better.
Shaney I would love to walk by the sea. Haven't done that for a while.
Neti I pleased you're enjoying your visit. I also keep up with you on FB.
Jno you're hope you've had a good time here and there, theatre wise etc.
We're going to go and see a play in Nottingham in November. I'll tell you later when I've had my chat on Skype. Later 'gaters!
I'm here again... I forgot Lottie didn't I. If you pop in sometimes Lottie hope you're ok.

The play we're going to see is called Chin Chin with Felicity Kendal and Simon Callow. It's on at the Theatre Royal Nottingham. Nottingham is a better place for theatregoers than Derby. The Royal Concert Hall is next door and I've seen lots of artists there.

Anyway that's about all for now. I hope you all have a goodnight. I'm off to watch Chelsea play now on the telly. Then The Rams at home tomorrow.See if they can score 5 like they did last Tuesday.
Oight Oight All.
Simon Callow and Felicity Kendal....sounds good. It has rained here. Enough to spook Shughy who now associates rainy humidity with scarey thunder. Lots of cuddles have helped.

Morning all
Another lovely day .Bright and breezy and not so hot as yesterday .
Hope you're all ok this morning .
Morning all...bright but chilly, very Septemberish, which it almost is. Oh noo, it can't be, I haven't had enough summer yet! Ideally I'd like another month in between July and August, warm, not too hot, but still light nights.

The Theatre Royal is a lovely place Jude, I was watching a Derren Brown show the other night on the tele which was filmed there last year, a perfect setting.

No rain here and I could have done with some last night, I was too tired to water...the plants are on rations anyway now that I'm on a meter.
Not sure what's on the agenda today... apart from cleaning one window I can't remember doing much yesterday, I think I mostly just stared at things, like you do :)

soopah day out there, visiting cousin has been extremely lucky with the weather... and so have we because she's just found she's leaving a day later than planned! What exhausting things will she find for me to do on the extra day, I wonder?

Visited some more remote cousins in Hampshire yesterday, admired their tortoises... one's a bit of a psycho, climbs on top of the others but still can't quite break out of the compound so spends his time trying to wrench the (plastic) bars apart. Plus their 33-year-old daughter is moving back in next week for three years while she does a nursing course. The parents seem ever so slightly less than ecstatic about it all.
Hello all, been shopping cos Mr N went back to London for a belated stag do, with no groom but that won-t stop them!! Bought the twins darling matching outfits from Debenhams. My feet are absolutely killing me, the high heels at the wedding came off even in the church, and then most of the women copied suit! I took some ballerina pumps for later. What a fab reception, everything you could ask for, a lovely meal and then later thai curry and beef pies, there was a sweet shop set up with all kiddy sweets for free and bags to fill, so I did, refreshers and love hearts and space ships. All us old people giggling and grabbing it, am still chomping on some now!

Bit too warm here for my liking, have the usual heat rash under the boobies, grr.

Hope you are all well and having a good time. I ♥ England.
http://i43.tinypic.com/2q8yteh.jpg should be Mr N and me at the reception (you can't see the bare feet!)
