Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Yes a bit of a nip first thing but the sun is getting around now .Hope you're all ok .Sorry to hear you had a bad night Neti .Spiders don't bother me but moths do .I don't like moths and this time of year there's always one or more flitting about .I always worry that they'll go in my ears .Shudder

I don't get that paper any more Jude .We were spending a small fortune on papers ..well, Mr.S the news junkie was ...and we cut them right back and only buy the local and the I paper now .I print crosswords off the Guardian website to amuse myself with .
September already ..we'll soon be huddled round bowls of soup in our libby bodices and fluffy slippers ...lol.

Had a nice boot sale, didn't buy much.

Guess what I have done. I have run out of bp pills, can I get some from chemist (paying of course) or do I have to see a doctor?

I wouldn't think the pharmacy will sell you any neti, you'll have to ask them what the procedure is....how many do you need?

I had a lovely coffee and gossip with my friend down the road, had to drive down there (its a two minute walk) because its uphill then downhill to get there.

I'm still playing the sliding tiles picture game that is my house. Just when I'd had enough today my friend over the road said her OH will take some stuff to the tip for me tomorrow which is really kind but meant I had to drag myself into the shed to do some prep. Can't do it all myself so I hope he's on the spinach today. :)

Have you got your health card Neti ? You shouldn't have to pay if you have .
Just see a doctor asap .Can you go to your sisters doctor ? I doubt you can get them over the counter .

We've just had a nice gravy dinner with plenty of runner beans ..lol..my brother brought me loads of them .It's been a bit dull here today after all ,the sun did a runner,but it's quite warm .
And as I type the sun has come out ......

I invited both sisters to lunch at The Cricketers Arms in Berwick. Lovely, I had scallops and bacon salad and we shared a bottle of Rose wine.
Waiting for bro Ronnie to come on telly, and cheese straws and Taramasalata and of course more wine.

neti, while on hols down under I also found I was short of some pills, so went to a doc (I was still on his books after 50 years) and got some. Then of course after arriving home I found the pills had just slipped out of their packet and were buried in the suitcase.

So you could always start looking down the back of the sofa, just in case.

Went to the Scottish Play at Shakespeare's Globe, somewhat disrupted by helicopters flying overhead half the time. Apparently it was because there were tall ships visiting down river and people were doing sightseeing flights. Also, I thought the whole cast doing an Irish jig at the end was a mistake.

However, we got Macbeth's signature afterwards when we bumped into him int he bookshop.

Good morning. Have woken up with a heat rash between my bazooms and in one elbow crease, I feel a right mess. I am onoly short of 3 bp pills so have asked sqad's advice. Slept better last night.

How are you all today? Too warm and too sunny for my liking!!!

Sqad seems to have gonee, so as I am only short of 4 pills shall I take the ones I have alternatively do you think, will it matter?

Sqad says no problem. I say if I hear a small explosion over southern England I will know it's someone going pop when her blood pressure went through the roof.

I don't know Neti. I'd be inclined to see a doctor and get the medication you need .We don't want to see your name in the papers :)
