spray tans

has anybody tried the spray on tans you can use at home, and could you tell me where you spray, is it in the bath or shower, just wondered if it goes all up the walls on the floor etc.

I do it over the bath (or shower would work too) as I find that it gets on the carpet. It does not seem to mark the carpet although might if its light, but you walk on it and end up with dark brown soles! Not a good look!
