Hair colour

Had highlights in my hair for years, then dyed it semi-permanent dark brown, now want to go back blond.Question is, if i start getting highlights again, will the roots, where most of the dark brown dye still is, will I go a rotten ginger colour for the first few times I get highlights??Thanks for your help

I asked a similar question a week ago or so-I have a horrid feeling that ginger is the price you pay on route to blondeness, and is punishment for going dark again. However to be on teh safe side, I'll wait to see what happens to you before I go blonde again if you don't mind!!! Good luck!
