I have quite fine hair and I have been using tresemme for about a year and its been great, but just recently I have realised that my hair is becoming quite lank and a little greasy come about 4pm. I wash and condition my hair every day and its shoulder length. Can anyone suggest a good shampoo & conditioner I can try. Im not too fussed on price, if it works I will buy it as I am sick of having bad hair days. BTW I dont use any product in my hair, I just wash and dry it.

Thanks

Hi, Greedyfly. My hair is fine, too, so I have the same problem. Try L'oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss (the pink one), but the one for fine hair (written in lime green!). It's lovely and not heavy at all. :)

Also forgot to mention that myhair is quite flyaway so something to tame it would be good
Go for normal that way it wont add any rubbish. the reason its becoming greasy is just that it adds things to your hair to make it appear thick.
agree with whiskey though elvive in oink bottle is very light on hair so light you cant put it in your hand before putting on hair as it runs straight through fingers
Do you squeeze the bottle on to your head, 4get? :)

My hair used to be very flyaway, Greedyfly (and static quite often, too), but I use Tresemme's Heat Protection spray before drying it now and that has worked wonders.
No I put it in my hand then put it on head
i also use and love the pink elvive shampoo and conditioner and have just stocked up again on the buy one get one free.
i wash and condition mine every day too and find it works well on my long fine hair, it gives it a bit of lift and fullness and shine after ive dried it.
the conditioner is lovely and silky and leaves my hair tangle free every time.
maybe you need products that are for greasy hair greedy?
they do say washing your hair every day is not good and that may be prompting the greasiness and lankness you say youre having... but, i know i couldnt go a day without washing mine, itd be like going out having not washed your face lol .. eeeewwweeeee
A good clarifying shampoo would be good to take away the greasiness, sometimes all you need to get rid of greasy hair is a change of shampoo!

I've just changed to Pantene Ice Shine and it has definitely given my hair a new lease of life cleanliness wise!

As for taming it, I've discovered Tresemme Creme Serum and it is fantastic! It doesn't greasy my hair the way other serums do and I only need to use the teeniest amount to calm it down!
Your hair can 'get used' to a shampoo which makes it less effective. Usually all you need to do is change shampoo, even if only for a short time.
