Have you ever had a professional facial done in a salon? Approx how much did you pay, was it worth it & how long did the effect last? I'd never really thought about it until a friend recently mentioned she'd like one so I'm considering going too - we could both do with a bit of cheering up.

well it was the bug that puppy two had luckily the vets know us and put up the anti bi's without us dragging pup in to the surgery. Suinday and sunday night were full of activity but they are now both back in rude health and a bit peeved because we are only taking themn out once a day at pres as they are still a bit weary.
I had a LOVELY day today grovelling on the floor running a new telephone cable round the house. To do him justice OH would have been happy to do it but he's not good at patient fiddley
(throws self on luxurious towel covered couch and takes tall cool glass from passing chippendale)

Oh, sorry, didn't realise I had a customer, thought everyone was out scaring the world with their white bits, it's a lovely day... morning Lottie & welcome to the parlour, are you wanting a little pampering? How about a Balinese body scrub?

<ain't got a clue what it is, I read it somewhere...Don't think I've got the balinese bit, might have to improvise

You think that's chilly neti?..up until yesterday we've been lucky to get over that during the day....or did you mean 6F?
I was always a Biddie Netti, I have been following you around the site for a long time now - a stalker. I am sure you know who I am!!!! :o)

Whoops, I didn't mean I have been following you personally round the site Neti - just being a squatter in all the various Biddie hideouts over the last year or so!!!!
Robby, it would take about a year and a whole team of surgeons, beauticians, osteopaths and fashion experts to get me back on track.

However, a cuppa, a natter and a good laugh would be a start!!
what's all the noise about??
Welcome to the land that time forgot, Lottie have a drink, its made out of fruit...well mostly fruit....well some fruit...the alcohol is only there as a preservative...
Are you calling me noisy Woofy!! How very dare you. I thought I had crept in quite quietly - I didn't want to disturb you whilst you having your Balinese Body Scrub. Robbie, you are not meant to be using that wire bristle brush!!!

I like the sound of that drink!!!
Question Author
woofy would you please not encourage my clients to drink alkeyhole, tut, they fall asleep under the driers & set fire to their hairnets

I know I'm not sposed to use it Lofty it's gonna ruin me suede coat after I've used it on you leathery lot...anyone wandering in here will think they've landed on the Galapagos islands

I'm the one slumped under the hairdrier whilst Robinia tries to wrestle the gin bottle out of my right hand so she can carry on with my manicure :)

Some hopes of that, shaney's got bloomin' grip like a vice. You wouldn't stand a chance next to her at a jumble sale...

Cranberry neti? that's a bit new age, you'll have to have milkman's orange
Ha ha ...they still remind me about the car boot sale where I whipped one of those china chicken egg thingys from right under someones nose ! Well ....if she couldn't make her mind up .......I wasn't going to mess about for a quid :))
Tut .... me varnish is all smudged now
Now I'm confuzzled, are we talking smuged nail varnish or plastic-type nail varnish???
ooooh milkman's orange...haven't had that for years, used to be our friday treat (Dad got paid on a thursday)
I used to love (and still would if Icould get it) the concentrated orange juice from the clinic. Used to have it on rice pudding as i wouldn't eat it otherwise, was even known to eat it on bread, oh yummy happy days. Also loved the Cod Liver Oil and malt, oh yummy, Happy Days. Is Virol still obtainable???
