I was in a meeting today, attended amongst others, by a female colleague, with whom we have all worked for years and would regard as a friend.

She was wearing a fairly short skirt, which she proceeded to adjust to cover her legs with monotonous regularity. Nobody would have noticed if she had not kept on grabbing her hem. In the end, it became embarrassing trying NOT to notice her do it..... Insight, please, Ladies?????

she felt uncomfortable and was obviously distracted, bet she couldn;t tell you anything about the meeting, she is not happy with her legs and I bet she hangs that skirt up and never wears it for work again

I always tended to go to business meetings ...a la Sharon Stone....it worked for me.

I agree with dot, she wore it, thinking it would be fine, and then found that it wasn't appropriate, and felt very uncomfortable! she will have learnt from it, and won't make the same mistake again! We can all make a mistake.......especially first thing in the morning, when deciding what to wear to work................
