long hair

My hair has got to bob length but I do not like "that straightened hair like rats tails" so therefore I do everything to volume and curl my hair up. However most hairdressers will not do this - it is too long for most of them - (maybe it is too much trouble) to use the tongs.

Anyway I use myself a wee hotbrush but because of the longish hair it get tangled but I am looking for a real good one for the long hair.

Cannot use tongs or straighteners. Only hot brush - Thanks for replies Have viewed them btw what does it mean when it says 13mm 15 mm 18mm - when I converted 13mm it came up to something 0.79999 inches - what is that

My hair is sholder length and i put a bit of mouse in, then use a difusser with my hairdryer which makes it go really curly, but if i don't use the mouse, it goes into almsot ringlets.

18mm being the largest width of given curl. Layers cut into style, mousse and diffuser - head down to diffuse - would give volume & waive.

if i let it dry naturally, its just frizz with a little kink in it where my hair band goes.

Why dont you have long layers cut into it ? It will give the bob more shape.
