Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

When my sister was in India (hitching round the world) in the 60's she came out of a hotel and everyone thought she was Pattie Boyd who was recently engaged to George; and the paparazzi followed her for quite a while until she convinced them that she was not Pattie. My sister has a few tales to tell of her youth, such fun.
No I'm well out of beddybyes Neti ..up early ...very bumbly day ..hairdressers,then library and lugging of shopping up that ruddy hill.Then washing and lugging it all upstairs .Then hoovering,scrubbing the bathroom etc ....
Mr S has just disappeared into the lounge to watch some tele thank goodness .Otherwise he stands over me all day .Drives me potty .I shouldn't be like that ..love him dearly but he's driving me mad atm.
He can't cook but thinks he can and stands over me .I feel like thwacking him one ,

Beddybies, certainly not. Been up since 7.30am, out by 9.00am to meet with builder on land, then home and out again to buy birthday pressie for son's GF, then back to builder on land to sort out a problem with measurements, then home, then back out again with plans in hand to land, then home. But did manage to have 2 cuppas and cakes whilst out getting birthday present in Reepham. Lovely little town.

Mr N turns gas knobs down or plunks lids on saucepans, presses knob on microwave (even tho it has stopped) when I am cooking. I understand completely shaney, then he pokes in the fridge and groans and then tidies the tins on the shelf,"this should have been eaten, can't afford all this" and it's things that he buys for himself!! That's why I love him playing golf, keeps him well out of the way for hours, but then of course he's not around if I espy a cockroach or lizard in the house, or need a casserole from the top shelf, which means I have to clamber up and wobble back down!
Still no stik woman or jno, are they off on a jaunt together me wonders???
Hi Lottie, oh dear don't mention land to me, I'm still not convinced ours is safe. Good though that yours is settled (apart from measurements, doesn't all land have those probs?)

Oh I shouldn't be such a miserable moo. I have so much to be grateful for but this is getting me down .
I can't move,he's behind me all the time . The problem is, he has no interests or hobbies .He was always so work orientated .Typical German .
Basically he's bored and these health problems he has don't help .
He can't go far with the bladder probs or we could have a breeze along the front or something or go into town ,have a ride out somewhere ,but he's very housebound atm and I do all the runnng about . Well ...not exactly running .... more like slogging around ,gritting my teeth :)
Once he's ploughed through all the newspapers he gets twitchy ....
Pay no attention to me ..
I'm just grumpy today. I'm of to my brothers tomorrow afternoon for a kaffeeklatsch with my SiL,my fellow bridesmaid and a few friends ....my cousin is going too ....if she starts ,I'll dot her one :0)

Night, night Shaney. I am dog tired and fed up with Mr Grumpy in the other room. He is grumpy about work yet can't face retiring. Mind you do I really want him to retire!!!????? (He tidies up tins too and kitchen cupboards, but his garage is unbelievably dreadful, you have to climb over rubbish to get to anything. I have long since stopped even looking in there),

evening all, went to the dentist today for a 10-minute checkup, but as it required driving right down to SW London, it took me 2 hours to cover the 10 miles or so on the way back. (Fortunately I got there in good time... fortunately I didn't have anything urgent to rush home for as I would have missed it by hours.) Anyway, my implants are settling in icely and hopefully I'll get the actual teeth on top before Christmas.
Loved the George documentary, but Paul's still my favourite - the only one who's always seemed at ease with himself. Nice to see George searching for peace, but there seemed to be quite a bit of anger bubbling under, and lots of drugs. As for John, no thanks, wouldn't want him in the house, too sarcastic. Ringo would be ok as long as he didn't bring his drums with him.
Plus I have made up an online calendar from my year's photos and ordered one. I don't know how it will look as my computer screen shows colours well different from the way they print out. Anyway, once I've got it the way I want I'll order lots and mail them off for Christmas presents.

Damned leccy went off last night but luckily just as Dancing with the Stars finished about 1am. I had to remember what had been one so could switch it off. I always have these portable light bulbs in the rooms so easy to walk about.

still just stumps, but with little caps on so the gum could grow back round them. The caps then get removed and crowns placed on them. Then once again I will have half a mouth to eat with and consider whether I want to go through it all again for the other side of the mouth.
Nice day here, I may celebrate by going to the hospital for a blood test (I have been fasting since 10pm but only sleeping since 4.30). Perhaps I could bring back some rescue remedy for shaney. It's irritating having people Hanging Around, one of the adjustments I am trying to make since retiring but haven't got there yet.

Was thinking about Paul and George jno. I think I just like Georges vulnerability and quietness and the fact he grew in strength over the years. Paul seems very shallow to me and full of confidence and too cocky. It may be though that I just fancy George more!!!!!
George is definitely the 'musician' out of the four of them in my opinion.

I have the perfect rescue remedy Jno ..it's called "my brothers whisky bottle " and I shall be partaking later especially if my cousin starts rattling on . I can just sit there in a haze and hope I say "yes ,no , mmm and really "?.....in the right places :)

Those lights look handy Neti ..we sometimes get a powercut here and have to stumble about looking for matches,candles and a torch which I can never find .I ought to put them back where I found them in the first place :)
