Any recommendations?

I've been brought a lacombe clenser and toner but not sure I fancy one of their moisturisers as well, never really heard much about them and I'm under the impression there's not much difference between expensive and cheaper ones, (actually the cheaper moisturisers seem to be out playing the expensive ones).

So far on my short list I've got the total effects by oil of ulay or some form of nivea.

I'm 31years old, relatively normal skin but I can get dry cheeks depending on weather, I've no idea what size my pores are!

Cheers

Oh, and santuary products were also on shortlist as like their body stuff.
It was on telly recently. The expert said the only difference between expensive and cheaper creams was whether they suited your skin.

I find nivea very good....and also at night I find sudocrem makes me look fresh when I wake up. It needs time to soak in though.
I use this:

on my boobs, neck and face. It is THE BEST cream I have ever used. I would bet anyone who tries it will notice a difference within a few days of first use... I did :)

I use most of her products - and have been using the Moisturiser for years.
I am now using night and day creme from Lidls!! I think it was about £2.00 and quite honestly it's absolutely great and I have really sensitive skin.
I find Nivea Visage Q10 very good. You need seperate day and night creams though. There was a very good write up in The Daily Mail about Aldi's Lacura range which cost a fraction of the price of the expensive ranges. In the tests they set up they came top and were getting good results within two weeks. I tried to buy the range at my local Aldi but they had sold out ( probably read the same article)
Total Effects evaluates really well - but's £19 quid a pot locally and I can't afford it!
And it's brilliant moonshadow.I use Lacura . The one in the pump tub .Better than some I've shelled out mega money for .Their multi Intensive serum for about 3.50 is really good too .I always get a couple when I go there as it does sell out quickly .
Thanks shaneystar for the info, I will try again pronto.
I think Lidl's is similar to Aldi's actually 'Cien' or 'Iseree' It also has had good write ups.
If the Aldi Lacura doesn't suit me I'll give that one a try LoftyLottie.Sorry to have taken over China but I love a bargain.
I also use the Lacura Shimmering Day cream.......it makes your skin glow. It looks moist without looking or feeling oily. And at £1.99, it's a steal.
Big spenders aren't we!!
Yep....and clever.....I would never spend £30-40-50 on a skin cream.
I'll be sticking with the one I linked to above :)
I don't like spending lots of money on moisturisers as they rarely do what they say they will.
Having noticed lately that my chest and neck weren't looking their best I decided to find a product for those areas and came up with 'Boobtube bust and neck firmer' and I am sold for life now! No more crepey skin on my chest or neck and after using it on my face I now have glowing, firmer skin :)
Where do you get that from Daffy?
I bought it direct from the manufacturers website as that was the cheapest deal I could find moonshadow. It isn't cheap but a tiny amount goes a long way and I can see the bottle lasting for several months even with daily use.

I know I'm late in, but I used to use Boots No. 7 products, etc., that was until my daughter recommended Aldi.

Morning: after cleansing, I use Aldi's Lacura Multi-Intensive Serum, then after a few minutes apply their Siana moisturising day cream.

Night - after cleansing, I use the same serum, then apply Siana moisturising night cream.

All the above are brilliant, very cheap & have won awards! They also keep my skin feeling refreshed & youthful. ;o}

P.S. I also use Lacura compact face powder, compact blusher & compact eye shadow - but prefer Max Factor mascara.

Thanks ladies! :c)

I too have heard wonders about the lidel and aldi creams and really quite up for giving them a go (well even if they don't work for me, at that price it's hardly a waste of money!) Trouble is, there's no aldis or lidels near me... I wonder if they do online shopping, I'll check that out actually.... I'm also interested in Daffy's cream, I do worry about deceloping a crinkly neck and I was interested to read that.

I've used Boots no7 products and really like them but I have noticed that although the night cream is still doing its job, the day cream really seems to be falling behind so I think it's more the day moisturiser than I need to get... i don't suppose it matters if I'm using different brands day and night... hope not anyway! :c)

FYI... got me aldi creams, eye gel and I'm also trying out their blusher... Hoping for big things! Thanks for the advice all :c)
